Can I take photos during a performance? Professional cameras (including those with a removable lens), flash photography, and audio/video recording are prohibited unless otherwise noted.

Ticketing & Fees
Do you charge additional ticket fees? Yes. Westmoreland Cultural Trust applies a Historic Preservation and Non-Profit Sustainability Fee of $12.00 per ticket, included in your final total at checkout. Depending on the artist, tour, or promoter, additional special fees—such as VIP event add-ons—may apply. Ticket prices and fees are subject to change. This fee directly supports the long-term sustainability of our historic landmarks, ensuring their continued operation and preservation for future generations.
Why are there additional fees on my ticket? As a nonprofit organization, Westmoreland Cultural Trust reinvests every dollar from these fees back into The Palace Theatre and the cultural properties we manage, including the Greensburg Garden & Civic Center, Union Trust Building, and Stark/James Building. Your support directly funds the preservation and maintenance of these historic landmarks, including The Palace Theatre, which will celebrate its 100-year Centennial Anniversary in 2026. These fees also help cover essential costs like staffing, utilities, and day-to-day operations, ensuring we can continue bringing world-class entertainment to the community. Our total fees remain lower than many comparable venues, allowing us to provide high-quality entertainment while keeping costs reasonable for our patrons.
How are ticket fees used? Funds from ticket fees directly support the 100+ events we host annually at The Palace Theatre and Greensburg Garden & Civic Center. These contributions help cover event-related expenses, such as security, food trucks, advertising, and technical production needs. Your ticket fees help make the following community events and initiatives possible:
• The Palace Theatre performances (100+ shows per year)
• Educational initiatives (Achievement in the Arts, community & school outreach)
• Public art and cultural programs (Art in the Alley, Wings Across Westmoreland)
• Community festivals (ArtsWalk, Greensburg Music Fest)
• Seasonal and free events (Old Salem Market, Rhythms of Summer, Petrifying Palace, Breakfast with Santa, Movie Night)
• Galas and Year-Long Celebrations (Party at the Palace, Centennial Celebration)
• Specialty expos (Wedding Expo, Psychic Fair)
By purchasing a ticket, you play an essential role in helping us fulfill our mission: Westmoreland Cultural Trust is a conduit for communities to thrive. We do so by welcoming broad forms of artistic expression, forging purposeful partnerships and programming meaningful arts education and engagement activities.
What happens if I can no longer attend an event that I purchased tickets for; can I get a refund? All ticket sales are final; no refunds, credits, or exchanges unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, most fees are non-refundable (per our ticket terms and conditions).
Does The Palace Theatre accept Apple Pay and Google Pay? Yes. Patrons using a supported device or browser will see Apple Pay or Google Pay options appear automatically during online checkout for a faster, secure purchase experience.
Mobile Ticketing
What is mobile ticketing? Mobile ticketing is a new digital feature that allows patrons to access, store, and present their tickets directly from their smartphones. It offers a faster, more convenient way to enter the theatre.
How do I get and access my mobile tickets? When you choose “Email” as your ticket delivery method at checkout, you’ll receive a secure link in your confirmation email. This link lets you view and manage your tickets in several ways:
• Add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet (Highly Recommended): Each ticket must be added individually. This ensures fast, internet-free access at the theatre.
• Take a Screenshot: Save a visible barcode for scanning or to share with guests. Note: Each barcode can only be scanned once.
• Print at Home: You can still print your tickets from the email if you prefer paper.
• Open from Email: Simply show the barcode on your smartphone at the entrance for scanning.
Do I have to use mobile ticketing? No. While mobile ticketing is a new, convenient option, The Palace Theatre continues to offer traditional mailed paper tickets for patrons who prefer a physical keepsake.
Is mobile ticketing accessible? Yes. The mobile ticketing system supports screen readers and features an optimized barcode design for easier scanning.
Can I still use tickets I received before mobile ticketing launched? Yes. If you received PDF print-at-home tickets via email before the transition, those tickets are still valid and scannable.
Can I transfer my tickets to someone else? Ticket transfers are not supported through the mobile feature. However, you may print or screenshot tickets to share with others, as long as the barcode has not already been scanned.
What should I do to prepare for a smooth show night experience?
• Add tickets to your digital wallet in advance (each must be added individually).
• Turn your phone’s screen brightness up and have your ticket ready before arriving.
• Swipe through multiple tickets if entering as a group.
• If using paper tickets, keep them unfolded and ready for scanning.
• Arrive early and visit the box office for any last-minute help.
What if I need help with my tickets at the venue? The Palace Theatre box office is open two hours before most events. Staff will be available to assist with any ticketing questions or troubleshooting.
Cashless Policy
Is The Palace Theatre now cashless? Yes. The Palace Theatre has transitioned to a fully cashless facility for all concessions, bar service, and box office transactions. This change is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the Patron Experience through faster service, improved security, and more convenient payment options.
What forms of payment are accepted? We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as digital payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
What if I only have cash? While we no longer accept cash at our in-house registers, an on-site ATM remains available for your convenience. Additionally, prepaid Visa and Mastercard gift cards—available at most local pharmacies and retailers—can be used just like a debit or credit card. Although we no longer accept cash for purchase, our hard-working bartenders are still able to accept both cash and card tips.
Do all vendors at The Palace accept cards? While most of our facility is cashless, select third-party vendors—such as merch tables or food trucks during special events like Greensburg Music Fest—may still accept cash. We recommend coming prepared with both card and cash if you're unsure.
Concessions & Amenities
Can I purchase food at the venue? Candy, snacks, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase in Megan’s Suite before and through intermission for most events. If there is no intermission, concession and bar sales typically end 30 minutes past the posted showtime.
Can I take my purchased food/beverage items into the theatre? Only bottled water and beverages in a souvenir theatre cup (available for purchase) are permitted in the theatre.
